Systemic shocks are imminent and unpredictable. To navigate them, we must act fast and (un)learn collectively—yet our current institutions are unfit for this task.

Without a coherent, transdisciplinary strategy, resilience crumbles with every crisis. We need a new theory of change: one that transcends silos, reconciles top-down with bottom-up approaches, and plants the seeds of a radically new cultural story.

The key is creating physical spaces where we compost the skills of the dying system while nurturing the shoots of the new. These containers for resilience are Bioregional Learning Centers.
